SpriteCode is an offline pixel art and sprite creation app developed by RoukoApps, a brand of ROKOCORE (SMC-Private) Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how the SpriteCode Android app handles information.
SpriteCode is designed to work offline. The current version of the app supports Android 8.0 and newer, does not require an account, does not include advertising, does not include analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not upload your artwork, projects, scripts, prompts, or personal data to our servers.
SpriteCode does not collect, upload, sell, rent, or share your personal information through the app. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, microphone recordings, camera data, advertising ID, or device identifiers through the app.
The app does not use third-party advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or third-party crash reporting SDKs.
SpriteCode processes and stores app data locally on your device so the app can provide its drawing, project saving, autosave, scripting, file opening, and export features. This local data may include:
This data is stored in the app’s private internal storage or local app preferences and is not uploaded to RoukoApps or ROKOCORE servers.
When you export artwork or spritesheets, SpriteCode saves the exported PNG image using Android’s built-in storage systems.
On Android 10 and newer, exported images are saved to the device’s public Pictures/SpriteCode folder using Android MediaStore. On Android 8 and Android 9, SpriteCode uses Android’s system Save dialog, allowing you to choose the export location and file name.
Exported files saved to your Pictures/Gallery area or to a location you choose may be visible to gallery apps, file manager apps, or other apps that have permission to access media or files on your device. Uninstalling SpriteCode may not delete exported images. You can delete exported images manually from your Gallery or File Manager.
If you choose to open a supported SpriteCode project file using Android’s system file picker, SpriteCode only processes the file you selected. The app receives access to that selected file through Android’s file picker and does not request broad access to your device storage.
Opened project content is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. If you save a project in the app, the saved project data is stored locally as described in this Privacy Policy.
SpriteCode includes a local scripting feature that can execute supported drawing commands on your canvas. Script text is parsed and executed locally on your device.
The Code Prompt helper can generate a text prompt based on what you type and copy it to your device clipboard when you tap the Copy button. SpriteCode does not read your existing clipboard contents and does not upload clipboard contents.
After text is copied to the clipboard, it is managed by Android. Depending on your device and Android version, clipboard content may be accessible to other apps or system components. If you paste a SpriteCode prompt, script, or artwork description into a third-party app, website, AI tool, or online service, that third party’s privacy policy will apply.
The current version of SpriteCode does not request Internet access, location, contacts, camera, microphone, advertising ID, or broad file storage permissions.
SpriteCode does not request READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, or MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE. For image export on Android 8 and Android 9, the app uses Android’s system Save dialog. For Android 10 and newer, the app uses Android MediaStore/scoped storage.
SpriteCode uses Android’s built-in storage systems for local project storage, user-selected file opening, and image export. If permissions or features change in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
SpriteCode is a paid application available as a one-time purchase. All download transactions and billing are handled exclusively by the Google Play Store through your Google account.
SpriteCode does not collect, access, process, or store your credit card information, bank details, billing address, or any other financial payment credentials. All payment processing is governed by Google Play’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
SpriteCode currently allows standard Android backup and restore features. Depending on your device settings, Android version, Google account settings, and the app’s backup configuration, locally saved app data such as project files, autosaves, saved project names, or app preferences may be backed up by Android to your personal Google account or transferred to a new device.
We do not operate, manage, or access these Android system backups. Android backup and restore behavior is controlled by your device, your Google account settings, and Google’s policies. You can manage or delete device backups through your Android or Google account settings.
SpriteCode does not sell, rent, or share your personal information. The app does not transmit your projects, artwork, scripts, prompts, clipboard content, or project files to RoukoApps, ROKOCORE, advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.
SpriteCode does not include third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs.
Because SpriteCode is distributed through Google Play, Google may collect or process certain information as part of operating Google Play and Android, such as install statistics, purchase/download activity, device compatibility information, crash/ANR diagnostics, or security checks. We may receive aggregated or diagnostic information in Google Play Console. Google’s handling of this information is governed by Google’s own privacy policies.
SpriteCode relies on Android’s built-in app sandbox and device security features to protect local app data. Since the app does not upload your project files to our servers, the security of your local projects depends on your device security settings, such as screen lock, device encryption, and Android backup settings.
Exported images saved to your public Pictures/Gallery area or to a user-selected location are not private app-internal files and may be accessible to other apps with appropriate media or file access.
Your SpriteCode projects, autosaves, saved project names, and app preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. You can also delete saved projects from inside the app where the delete option is available.
Exported images remain in your device’s Pictures/Gallery area or in the location you selected until you manually delete them. Android system backups may remain in your Google account or device backup system until managed or deleted through your Android or Google account settings.
Because we do not store your projects or artwork on our servers, we cannot recover, view, or delete local project files on your behalf.
If you voluntarily contact us by email, phone, or another support channel, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, phone number, message content, screenshots, attachments, or other support details. We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, improve the app, and maintain necessary business records.
You may request deletion of support information you provided by contacting us at contact@rokocore.com.
SpriteCode does not collect personal data through the app. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
If you contacted us for support, you may request access, correction, or deletion of the support information you provided by emailing us at contact@rokocore.com.
SpriteCode does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not include ads, tracking SDKs, or account creation.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to us through a support communication, please contact us at contact@rokocore.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.
We may update this Privacy Policy if we change the app’s features, permissions, data handling, or legal requirements. When we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date.
