Welcome to MeowMaze! This Privacy Policy explains how RoukoApps (owned and operated by ROKOCORE (SMC-Private) Limited) (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles your information. We designed MeowMaze to be a completely offline, secure, and privacy-friendly puzzle arcade maze game.
MeowMaze is designed to work 100% offline and does not require you to create an online account. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external web servers.
1. Game Progress & Virtual Economy:
To provide a seamless gaming experience, the game locally saves your progress on your device. This includes your completed stages (Stages 1–40), virtual coin balances earned purely via gameplay, unlocked cosmetic yarn styles (skins unlocked through the in-game shop), and your audio preference settings (BGM and SFX volumes). This data is strictly kept within the device's sandboxed memory using standard local configurations.
2. Local Scoreboard (Survival Mode Name Input):
Our game features a competitive "Survival Mode" where players can test their skills over time. When a session ends, players have the optional choice to enter a custom "Player Name" to save their record onto the top-20 leaderboard matrix. We want to be absolutely clear: This name and its accompanying score metrics are stored strictly in local device storage. No remote databases or networks are used to process or host this local leaderboard dataset.
3. Information We DO NOT Collect:
We do not collect personal information such as your real name, phone number, network identifiers, contacts, photos, precise device location, microphone recordings, camera feeds, or hardware advertising IDs. The current version of the game also does not utilize any background analytics trackers (e.g., Firebase Analytics) or third-party advertising SDK networks (e.g., AdMob).
MeowMaze stores your game data (such as player stats, shop preferences, and progress data) in a private, sandboxed storage directory on your Android device using standard local storage models (SharedPreferences). We rely entirely on Android’s native sandboxing architecture to isolate and safeguard this data. We do not maintain any form of remote access to your device or your saved progression data.
NO DEVELOPER-SIDE CLOUD BACKUPS: Because we are extremely strict about user privacy, RoukoApps does not possess, capture, manage, or host any external cloud database or data recovery servers. MeowMaze operates entirely as a standalone, serverless game.
UNINSTALLATION WARNING: Since 100% of your game progress (such as reaching Stage 30+, earning coins, or saving high scores) is contained strictly inside your local device's memory, uninstalling the game or wiping your device's application data will permanently delete all your progress. If you remove the game from your phone and reinstall it later, you will automatically start back at Stage 1. We have no remote or technical capability to restore or recover your lost progress files.
GOOGLE SYSTEM BACKUPS DISCLAIMER: While our game code keeps Android's native platform-level system auto-backup enabled (which may automatically back up app configuration files to your personal Google Drive depending on your Android device settings), we do not operate, guarantee, or take any responsibility for this Google feature. Whether Google's operating system successfully backs up your save files or fails to do so is completely outside of our studio's control, liability, and influence. Players are solely responsible for managing their own local device states and manual operating system data options.
MeowMaze is built to operate efficiently without requesting any sensitive or dangerous Android manifest permissions. We do not require access to your Device Location, Contacts, SMS, Storage Files, Microphone, or Camera. The game relies entirely on baseline system features required to render real-time canvas assets and deploy local resource audio clips.
Your game files and leaderboard standings remain on your device until you manually clear the game’s data/cache directory from your system application management preferences or completely uninstall the game. Because we do not maintain any centralized web database records of your interactions, we cannot remotely recover or manually remove data on your behalf once it is wiped from the physical device.
Since we do not collect, store, share, or process any identifiable personal data, we are inherently compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for international users and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Users do not need to request data deletion parameters, as completely removing the game from your device automatically handles the full elimination of all localized assets.
Our game functions in a completely independent, offline runtime environment. MeowMaze does not contain third-party software development kits (SDKs) for data behavior metrics, crash reports, ad targeting structures, or social media graphs.
Note: Since the app is hosted and distributed via the official Google Play Store marketplace, Google may process generalized distribution analytics or transaction processing data as part of providing its distribution platform. Please review Google’s privacy documentation for comprehensive system information.
Because our gameplay loop operates completely offline and does not track, transmit, or request personally identifiable user attributes, it is completely secure for players of all age demographics, including children under the age of 13. We are fully aligned with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) criteria and Google Play Families Framework requirements.
We may naturally revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect additions or operational refinements within upcoming updates. When modifications occur, the updated Privacy Policy document will be pushed directly to this hosted directory alongside a refreshed effective date. We suggest reviewing this page from time to time to stay updated.
